Santa Is Real At NOLA Running Of The Santas
Ho, ho, ho! Join the fun when the “Running of the Santas” returns to the Warehouse District on December 9, 2017. This fabulous outdoor party is a great activity to kick off the holiday season. (To participate, you must be at least 21 years old.)
This is how it works: Dress up as a Santa, elf, reindeer, etc. and meet up at Manning’s (aka South Pole), 519 Fulton Street in New Orleans at 5:45 PM and from there, run to Generations Hall (North Pole), 310 Andrew Higgins Blvd, New Orleans, LA, just a few blocks away. You can also choose to just watch as the crowd of Santas take over the streets or check out the local dogs decked out in holiday gear!
A portion of the proceeds benefits “That Others May Live” Foundation, which is an organization that supports the families of United States Air Force Rescue Heroes who have been killed or seriously injured during during missions. If you want to start the party early, the doors at Manning’s open at 2 PM for drink specials begin and live music. The party continues on at Generation Hall where there will be some costume contests for “Cutest Santa” and “Best Costume”.
